→ Participation at Jeune Création 68th edition

The 68th edition of Jeune Création takes place in the Cour Vitrée of the Beaux-Arts in Paris, cradle of the Atelier Populaire in May 1968. 
From May 13 to May 20, 2018, the 68th edition of Jeune Création will present a subjective landscape of the emerging international art scene. The selection made from nearly 1800 applications, will present 38 artists from 14 different nationalities.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a rich program of events, focusing on performance, video and photography with 3 late nights open unyil 22:00: Saturday 12 (Vernissage), Wednesday 16 and Saturday 19 May 2018.

This year, Chiara Valci Mazzara – Artistic Director of fontaine b., will be one of the speakers of the panel discussion curated by Elena Costelian and dedicated to performance art along alongside Skip Arnold, Gregor Hildebrand, Colette Lumière, Vadim Zakharov. Based on her experience with Gutai and Viennese Actionism, Chiara will be relating  about organising and co-curating performances as well as about the key elements when it comes to present performance art. Moreover, a second part of the lecture will focus on drawing the important guidelines in regards to placing performance art in the market, what are the eligible pieces, the selection process, who are the interested buyers and collectors as well as where and how to acquire documentation and artworks.
